What Were The Challenges
A big part of the renovation process for the Dorset Museum was the modernisation of their processes, giving them the ability to not only reduce admin time but also create new opportunities for expansion. Our system helped to free up museum staff, meaning that they could work on other key areas of the attraction without needing to complete data collection and other administration tasks manually.
With VenposCloud, the museum can now sell admission tickets as well as event tickets through their website, which was something that they were not able to do before. With our integrated system, they can easily manage bookings and events in one place, improving efficiency and reducing admin time. Plus, they can set up and send out automatic emails and run strategic marketing campaigns tailored for their online members, depending on consumer data and spending patterns.
Thanks to the integration between the ticketing & admissions and Gift Aid modules, the Dorset Museum was able to stimulate incoming donations by offering donation options throughout the visitor experience. The Gift Aid module helped them simplify the process which, consequently, increased the number of donations they received. The Dorset Museum now has an efficient way to process admissions, collect Gift Aid, produce detailed reports, and manage events.
