We’re Attending a Lot of Events Before the End of the Year

We are now two-thirds of the way through 2022, and instead of wondering where all that time has gone, our eyes are firmly set on the remainder of the year.

Autumn is typically a very busy period for the visitor attraction industry. We’re making sure to be at every possible upcoming event so that we can stay up to date with industry trends, and to help you find new ways to help attractions deal with the busy-ness.

September

We are attending a total of five industry events throughout the month of September, starting with the Zoholics UK event in the capital on the 7th and 8th.

Zoho help us provide the most relevant communication to our partners, minimising the amount of spam and useless information our clients see in their inbox. We’re excited to learn more about their upcoming products and to network with other Zoho customers.

The following week, we’ll be back in London for the IAAPA exhibition at the ExCeL centre. Our team of account managers will be browsing the exhibition floor, catching up with our clients, reaching out to potential partners, and more!

Four days later, we’re off to Berlin for the Annual Ticketing Innovation Summit. Here we will network with other experts in the ticketing field to find out the newest ways in which we could improve the efficiency and ingenuity of the VenposCloud system. Plus, it will give us the opportunity to learn more about innovations in the field that could improve our system.

Then, on the 22nd of September, we will be splitting our focus. Some of our team will head to Drayton Manor for the UK Theme Park Awards, where we are proud to announce that we have sponsored the “Best Theme Park for Families (Large)” award! The rest of our team will be attending the NFAN Networking Exhibition in Nottinghamshire that day, bringing with them the answers you need to find out how the VenposCloud system could help your farm attraction.

October

October offers us a brief moment of respite as we attend just the one event throughout the month, though it is one of the most important events in the calendar year: the Annual National Conference of Visitor Attractions (VAC), at the ICC in Birmingham.

The VAC is a great opportunity to develop our understanding of the wider visitor attraction industry through its many seminars. We look forward to learning more about the issues facing the industry and the topics that concern you the most, including climate change, innovation, and more.

November

We then return to Birmingham to kick off our November event list at the Family Attraction Expo, from the 2nd to the 3rd, at the NEC. We’re especially excited to hear from experts in the industry, take the time to network with newcomers, and attend the awards ceremony.

Next, we travel to the Museums Association Conference in Scotland on the 3rd to the 5th, to find out more about one of the industries we work most closely with. Museums and Heritage Sites have been hit incredibly hard by the Covid-19 pandemic, especially since they mostly rely on donations for revenue, and we are optimistic that we will be able to help the industry maximise its income.

One week later, we’re back north of the border for Scotland’s 2022 National Tourism Industry Conference, where we’ll be discussing the state of tourism in Scotland and catching up with many of our existing clients.

Finally, we end our year of exhibitions back in the capital for the Historic Buildings, Parks, and Gardens Event on the 15th of November, where we’ll be giving a demonstration of our brand-new user journey.

Rich with talks, presentations, and information, the Historic Buildings, Parks, and Gardens event is a must-not miss for us. We’ll be able to offer our ticketing functionality to venues who may need a more efficient system after realising that their current systems cannot handle the post-pandemic demand.
